This can be done quite simply through the Domains module. Go to Domains on the toolbar and then use the Manage (your domain) tab. You will see a list of one or more domains. With each domain you can create up to five mailboxes or set a forward on your email address to push mail to an external account.
Each domain will have its own section in the panel. To set up email (a forward or a mailbox) use the following steps:
Click on the Email & Settings link
Confirm you are on the Email & Settings section
At the bottom of the section you have the option of setting up a forward or a mailbox
Forward your mail
Setting up mail forwarding allows you to use your mail address to redirect emails to another external email address, e.g. gmail, hotmail, yahoo.
NB. Forwarded addresses do NOT have mailboxes so you can't login to this address, it simply forwards mail to another email account where you can retrieve your mail. To set up a forward:
Select Forward emails to an existing email address
Decide on what email address you wish to use
You can delete any existing addresses in the panel
You can create a new email address in the field at the bottom and click Add
You then need to insert the recipient address - the email address your forwarded mail will be sent to
Create a Mailbox
A mailbox is like a postal mailbox - this is where your mail is delivered to and you can retrieve (or send) it.
So to set up a mailbox follow these steps from the Email & Settings section:
Click Create a new mail box
Add a mailbox name (we add the @ and your domain name and confirm it at the bottom)
Create a password and confirm in the following field (NB. this is your Mailbox Password only)
Your Mailbox is now set up
The full mailbox address (the bit you added before the '@' plus your domain name) is also the mailbox username. You can only access mail in your mailbox using this address and the password that you originally created for the mailbox.
Please be aware that you cannot login using an alias and all alias addresses MUST be unique across the whole account. Creating any duplicates addresses can cause a conflict and mail may NOT be delivered. To set up an alias address use the following steps:
Check you are still in Email & Settings
Check that the 2nd drop down has Mailbox: your mailbox name (whatever you created earlier)
You will see the full mailbox name in the panel below
Insert a name in the field below the panel and click Add
Your alias will now be added to the list of addresses for that mailbox
Repeat the above steps to add more aliases but do not duplicate any addresses in your account
NB. Remember you cannot login to your mailbox using an alias - you must use the mailbox address
