Google Analytics is a free service, offered by Google, that generates detailed statistics about visitors to a website. By following these instructions, you can easily add Analytics to your Moonfruit site.

Click on the Services menu in the editor, and 'Go to site'

This will take you directly to the Google Analytics site, where you can sign up for a new account, or sign in using your existing Google account. Upon completion of either step, you will be taken to the Analytics Account Home page. Click on the Admin button.

On the next page, click on the 'New account' button. This will take you to a setup form, which you should complete as per the image below. Note that the URL of your site should correspond with the Preferred Address that you can set via Admin -> Site address.

The next page gives you several tracking options. Scroll down to the tabs and click on Custom. Copy the code block from the box.

Go back to your site, click on Setup, and paste the code into the box - contrary to Google's notes, this is the only place to need to enter it. When you click submit, the Analytics box should show a green tick, and the text 'Enabled on this site'
