Hi

I have taken up the Lite option as I wanted to remove the branding however it is still showing on my website, is there normally a delay in this taking affect, I have cleared cache and it is still there.

Also does this option also remove .moonfruit.com from the url as too?

Hi,

Can you let us know what browser you are using? Clearing the cache should normally fix it, and I'm not seeing any branding from here.

It is possible to register a domain name for your site; this will allow you to have an address without .moonfruit.com in it.

Hi,

Did you check the time limit for the cache clearing? It usually defaults to a recent period, but it's generally best to set it back to 'The beginning of time' for this.

I am a bit disappointed however that it says on Lite that it removes moonfruit branding, if its showing on url then this is still branding in my eyes.

Hi,

That's not part of our branding, this is the default address we give you when you set up your site. Without it you wouldn't be able to access your site at all. You can replace it if you have your own domain name, as Gary suggested.

Hi,

I can't see any domain name in your account at the moment. Did you purchase it through a third party service?

I see you have linked your domain now to you site.

You seriously need to edit your images before you launch your site.  Your home page is about 30MB!!!!

To stop it showing moonfruit in the URL bar, you would normally be able to make la.weddingcars.co.uk your preferred address in the Admin tab of the toolbar but I'm not sure how it would work if your domain name isn't held by moonfruit.  Transferring the name to moonfruit would solve the problem if you haven't already done so.

You can use the domain as preferred site address even if it's not hosted with us, as long it's correctly pointing to our servers obviously.
