How do you create a slideshow without the images being distorted?

I am trying to create a simple slideshow in moonfruit and it keeps distorting my images even though I have resized them to the exact size of my slideshow.  Can anyone help me?  No one at moonfruit can seem to figure it out.

Or, does anyone know of a good 3rd party slideshow widget that works with moon fruit?

I'm having the same problem too.

Moonfruit, how can we import images to the slideshow without them being resized and out of proportion?

Thank you

Seriously. Same problem. What is a website without arresting graphics? Not being able to resize the slideshow to fit my needs is THE reason I have not yet committed to paying for an account.

FIX THIS.

Hi Guys,

The reason why the images are distorted or blurred is because the image is to small for the slideshow. You will need to upload a larger image which will fit the default settings for the slideshow.

Kind regards,

Richard

My image is 3,648 x 2,736. I have tried resizing and cropping and reformatting it to the exact fit... why do you not have this option customizable? Also why can I not access the actual code of the site. Moonfruit seems very limited and puts you in a "one size fits all" box.

Hi vbv2,

Your image is far to large, you will need to upload a smaller version of your file. I'm afraid that due to our bespoke hosting environment it's not possible to allow access to the code.

So some images are far too small, some too big, can Moonfruit not just tell us what it needs - the slideshow is incredibly frustrating!

Hi,

You will need to make images roughly the same size as the slideshow. It is generally good practice to upload images at approximately the same the size you wish to use them.

Hi Juli, I tried that yesterday - I created the photos the same size as an existing photo on my site, I then created a slide show the same size, then when I inserted the photos they were totally distorted.  Why are photos not displayed at the same size as the slide show, even when I give them the same size?

Hi there,

I have something kind of related. How do I add a slideshow like the one on Peter's website. I can't seem to find that option on my menus...

Hi olliestails,

You are using our v6 software, currently there is no slideshow tool, so you would need to use a 3rd party tool.

Hi,

We are focusing on getting the core features out, such as the conversion feature the blog and forms. After this we will review other features, such as the slideshow.
