Hi,

Sites get deleted from Free accounts if they aren't logged into for 120 days, but we can keep them for some time after that - I have restored yours now.

Hi,

I'm sorry to report that your site is also unrecoverable - it was deleted more than 90 days ago. As you have paid to reactivate the account, you can either begin building a new site, or have the money refunded - it's your choice.

Hi -- I've had a great experience with Moonfruit as a novice website builder - but now that I've asked people to visit a page for information, my site seems to be down -- when I log on to edit, I get a gray screen; when I try to just visit the site from online, I get my background and a white (blank) center -- help!

Hi,

I spent hours setting up the free site only to find it didnt give me enough space for what i needed. I subsequently upgraded my site to the 'Lite Annual', paying £32.40 for the year! However its seems that there is nowhere for me to log on to the upgraded site. I can only log on and edit the free site which does'nt give me any of the benefits of paying the extra!

I was'nt given any new login details for the upgraded site and now I'm wondering if my money has just been taken for no product??!

I'm very confused and getting incredibly frustrated, especially as with the free site i'm unable to retrieve contact info for anyone at the HQ (something that the upgraded site that i've already paid for offers)!!

Please someone help me?

backtobackinteriors: This account hasn't been upgraded, so I suspect you have paid for a different account. Can you open a new thread for this please, and let me know in there if you received a confirmation mail for your payment? Thanks.

carefreespain4: Can you open a new thread, and let me know exactly what you see when not logged in? Thanks.

brownfish: The account you are posting from is a Free account that dates back some time. If you log into your Trial account, you should be able to reactivate your site by paying.

Hi Richard

You gave this a ticket number 2 days ago (now expired.)

I am/was building a personal website staceylanewrites.co.uk with username bolivea last week w/c 17th Sept.

Trying to access it on Sunday, the message was from my other website, username slane1, that it was the only one I own. staceylanewrites has vanished. I paid £11.99 - was that a registration fee?

Not being very computer savvy, sorry I can't build one more quickly. I hope you are able to return the website.

Many thanks.

I contacted Moonfruit 2 days ago because all my website have just disappeared.  The home page displays, but the menu is gone so no one can access any of teh other pages.  I tried to add a new menu, and it's not working.  Where has all my stuff gone?  I need it back A.S.A.P. for my business and no one has restored it yet or gotten back to me about if they're working on it, or not.  Help!

@artistrybyamy You can check the position of the menu by selecting the Design button and then clicking Menu. In the panel that appears click the 'reposition and scale' button; adjust the numbers for X and Y until you can see the menu; you can then drag the menu to where you want it. Don't forget to save your changes by pressing the save button on the little Page Master save/ help/exit panel.

Yes, I have the same problems. I haven't changed settings or browser but for some reason all my pages are appearing as half screens. Only the lefthand side of the pages are viewable.  For the last week I have been trying to buy a new domain and renew others, but the navigation buttons are not showing.  Since friday my primary business website  www.welshactor.co.uk has not been available and I am losing money. All Moonfruit tells me is adjust your zoom settings etc... they clearly have a problem and aren't dealing with it.  I'm annoyed because I just paid in september my subscription. I am now looking for alternatove providers.  I've had no real help from Moonfruit what so ever. Its been a week.   They are not interested enough in their customers to actually call or email and trouble shoot.

Thats incredibly devastating.  Can I be refunded?  I just paid for the site to be renewed yesterday.  This may be the most disappointing fact I have had to face through a website.  I longboarded 2,400 miles from Wisconsin to California last year, and the website had all of the pictures I had taken on it.  Such a terrible bummer.

Honestly its not moonfruits fault.  Its my bank.  They stopped payments to this site because its located in the U.K. and their thoughts was that there was too much fraud happening there due to the Olympics.

Hi jwlongboarding1

I do appreciate how frustrating this may be, the cost of hosting is included in the package price, so when don't receive your payment the site does eventually get deleted. We can restore sites but this is for a limited period. If you can put in the support ticket we can refund your payment for you.

I have also lost my website from the edit mode.  I can access it by my links to it so it still exists, but since the changes on 28.02.13  the edit mode is not functioning and I am unable to update and change anything.   I have e-mailed the help desk three times now and all I get is the same reply by different Moonfruit employees to update my browser to Windows Internet Explorer 9 (I cannot do this as I only have XP which is not compatible with version 9) and FlashPlayer 11.6 which I already have installed.  I am at a loss as to know what to do now.   I pay for a monthly subscription.  I am thinking of cancelling it now as Moonfruit appear to not know what the problem is or how to resolve it.   Having read the replies to the post on 2nd February, I see that it is not just me experiencing this problem!

Hi Moonfruit,

I'm having trouble editing my site. I bought the domain jgtyres.co.uk back in February and started to build my site. I stopped so I could go away and take some photos of my van to put on. When I logged back in today, I can't find the edit page button, and my dashboard says that I have no sites. Entering my website site into a browser brings up my half finished site so I can see that it is live, but on Moonfruit I have no site to edit? I'm well within the 120 days quoted in the first response from yourselves, at the top of this thread.  Also, I used some random pictures off the net to practice building, not realising that the site would go live straight away. I thought that there would be a 'publish' button.

Please help

Jim.

Your web site is live from the moment you start building it, unless you put it on Restricted.  You now need to submit it to search engines, Google in particular if you're in the UK.  Have a look at moonfruit's SEO guide which will help you get understand a bit more about SEO and how to submit to Google - you'll find it in the FAQ/Guides section of the forum.

@sandshara - I can see your site, how have you got rid of the numbers in the URL?

How bizarre! No page name either!

@djpapa - I've discovered that the suffix co.nr isn't really a suffix - it belongs to www.co.nr which is a subdomain redirection service, so it masks the original address including the page name and numbers.  Sorry to digress, sandshara, but the numbers issue crops up here from time to time so I was curious!
