Moonfruit favicon

Why do I sometimes get a different favicon showing on the Moonfruit forum? Is it a shadow site? a new site-in-progress? a hacked site? or what?

That's actually the favicon for Zendesk - the Support site uses their system. However, it shouldn't show up. Can you let me know if this happens on specific pages, or just at random?

I haven't particularly noticed whether it's specific pages or random but I can look out for it in future if that helps. I first noticed it a week or two ago, I think.
I don't know if it's connected, but also around a week or two ago, I started getting an HTML version of the forum when I hit the back button. Not every time - just sometimes, like with the favicon which isn't every time.
Neither of the these things are a problem for me - I was just curious about the favicon, but if it shouldn't be happening, I'll try and notice if there's a pattern.
Thanks for that - I'll ask our bug tester to have a look from this end as well. Unfortunately, Chrome (which I use) generally fails to display any Favicon, so I'm not seeing it here.
The HTML problem sounds like the browser failed to load the stylesheet, which can sometimes happen if a site doesn't load in time. However, this can usually be cured by a refresh.

Just curious...why can I see photos of people for a couple of seconds behind the gravatars (green people icons)?

Hi,
A few people have signed up for other services that use Zendesk, and the avatars get carried across to any other Zendesk site. However, we currently force a specific avatar, so these load along with the rest of our CSS, albeit slightly after the default Zendesk content.
However, we are still looking into allowing everyone to choose/upload their own avatar. We just need to figure out how much of our ugly mugs people can take first ;)

I think it would be a good idea to see avatar pictures of the moonfruit team - I did see some buried on a blog a long time ago, and I think we can take it!
Yes, we do use them on the Blog at the moment, but generally you'll only see Walt and Joe on there. If it's not implemented before November, you'll get to see our Movember efforts again ;)

The favicon that you have uploaded is a .gif format, in order for this to work correctly you will need to convert to an .ico format. Please see the link below for further assistance.

Still cannot get a Favicon to show up!! I have tried Dynamic Drive & Icon Converter, they say they are loaded,but they are not showing up?

The Favicon that is show is favicon-1(1) which is not in your file library. The Favicon in your file library is Favicon(3). Once you have converted the image to .ico format, please upload to your file library (edit your site > click upload) You will see this under insert > my files, once you have uploaded.

Hello again,
I have gotten a favicon that is .ico format (atleast it says it is) and when I upload it it either does not show up in the "upload box", or if it does, if I click "use", it does not show up as a favicon.
I also tried using the already set favicons, like the leaf or heart, and these do not show up either???

Hi Galen,
When viewing your site I can see the heart favicon perfectly fine. Can you trying viewing your site in an alternate browser for example; Google Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer to see if it shows up?
